Has anyone regeared the T-case gears instead of the other gears?

How is that working out for you?
Did you regear the axles as well?

re gearing the T-case only helps you in 4 low in 2 high and 4 high its still a 1:1 ratio

If you need to compensate for larger tires you need to re gear the axles

I already had 4.10s in my axles so I did not need to re-gear, and Rookie is right the t-case gearing is only good in 4low

ever heard of the Klune-V Extreme Underdrive system? Its an extra gear box that bolts on. When mated with the NP231 it is capable of 11:1 low ratio!

I know this wouldnt help you but thought id throw that out there.

I have 4.56 gears and Teralow 4:1 like Black YJ...

It gives me about a 73:1 crawling ratio on first gear.... It's good enough for what I'm doing.

I run 37" tires on that set up. ...

I like the Teralow system. I added 2 low when me and a buddy were building it.

It's a little slow for winter wheeing though
