February 10th: Camp Chamisol right of way clearing

It looks like several of us will be out working on the Trail Cutting project again on Sunday February 10th . Who would like to come and help?

Sunday Feb 1oth.

If we can get a good turn out to help again this day then we could finish the project. Last time we had a full day posted for this project, we got 22 volenters out. Let's see if we can top that number.

I will be there with a friend. Today would have turned out nice, I was out there with my doors off.. But hey another excuse to hit the trail! :D

same time & place? (cochrane smitties @ 9?)

Thanks for coming out to help on Sunday. If we can get a big group out then this project can get finished. I think Dom will likely be at Smitty's leave Cochrane  at 9:00. I will be comming in from Banff on Sunday morning so I will meet everyone at the project.

if for what ever reason it gets canceled can someone let me know so I can try and tag along for the 9th? Cant do 2 runs in a row...

Talk to Gary from the Quad Squad.... He and Roger Meyers went and cut the rest of the trees last Friday  ;D ;D ;D (Great job .. Thanks you !!!!)

the only thing we have to do is make piles and burn them... we have 500 meters to go.. so we need all the HELP we can get to finish that project.
it's been going for too long... if we get 20 people that come and help we can get it allll done.

Please join us on the 10TH...

(we'll be at Smithy's for breaky at 8AM ..leaving at 9AM and be at Camp Chamisol for 10AM)

you can bring a chain saw, working gloves, axe... or nothing

we are shopping trees that are already down in smaler pieces... making piles .. addding a little " je ne sais quoi" and BOOOOOM...

Glad you are comming out to help Al.

Like Dom said, this will be a day of clearing the trail of the trees that have already been felled. The bigger stuff, that will be good for firewood ,we will set off to the side of the trail for future useres to pick up when camping. The smaller stuff we will burn to get rid of it.

If we can get enough help out on Sunday this will finish the project.  Last time I brought Nolan along and he had a great day burning things in the fire. This time Marlee is going to come out to help for the day.

How long do you plan on being out their for.
I can not make it for a early start, but I may be able to be their for 12 or so.
