Yes, it is the same as a lock rite, or aussie, but quieter, and said to be a little stronger. I am going to put one in my 8 1/4. I wouldn't run bigger than 33's if you wheel hard though...

Good locker that is easy to install.

The application guide in that link is screwy, some of those axle & vehicle combinations just didn't exist from the factory.

I've been running my power trax no slip for 2 or 3 years, d35 and 31's, mostly (had 33's for a while). always works, never had a problem.
Very easy to install, It just replaces the spider gears, you should be able to do it easily in an hour.
