Title: HGTV - Handyman Superstar Challenge III

Just giving you guys a heads-up

I'll be on TV competing in the Handyman superstar challenge

I'm not allowed to tell you any details (damn confidentiality contracts),.. you just have to watch,.. I'm the 1/2 asian redneck,.. LOL

2 of us from calgary made it onto the final 10 out of approx 600 entries that we were told.


We filmed it already and just got an email for when they are planning to air

April 3rd 7pm and 11pm on HGTV - shaw channel 50

Apparently they are airing the commercials now on HGTV,.. LOL

I haven't seen them yet tho.

they are a free paper,.. in a green box, usually at LRT stations, strip mall banks and green boxes near coffee shops

Sorry to see you are out man.
That had to be one of the most existing things to do.
Did you guys get to hang out with Mike and Jim ? If so what are they like. Sometimes pepole have a on camera personalty that is nothing like what they are relay like.

I'm glad they didn't edit it to make me look like an idiot,..  But I was fumed that I was bottom 3,.. i think they had it all planned for me to leave anyways.

I didn't hang with mike,.. I didn't like him,.. right from the first time I shook his hand,.. his off camera personality seemed to be the same,.. a little more friendlier tho.  btw: he's a smoker - looks funny doing it.

Jim,.. OMG what a funny guy,.. he was cracking rude hooker jokes every moment we had just hangin around.
He kept saying we were all ballsy to do this show,.. and he would never do something like this,.. LOL

Time on the set that day was over 14 hours,.. total hours of the challenges - 3 hours,... 11hours of standing around - blech!

They actually let me stay 1 more night in the hotel so I could get the next flight in the morn.

Sucks I left tho,.. the next few challenges are right up my alley of forte, and I would've done really well.

The junk challenge was really hard
