Title: Fender Flares

So I put Bronco diffs under my YJ then I put 33x 12.5 x 15 on it now I need to cover 11 inches of tire with a fender flare. :-[
Anybody got any idea so the boys in blue don't bust me as I tool down the road? ???

Welcome to the world of full width diffs.  The widest flare I have seen is 7"

Also if you don't drive like an idiot on the roads, usually the police won't bother you

True enough, I have a set of 12.5 wide and 10.5 wide tires so I will most likely run the 10.5's around most of the time.
The 12.5 need to be replaced with some MT's. the 10.5's are AT's. Dropping down to 8 inch wide rims on the 10.5s will narrow my width as well

change rims. find a different offset/backspace rim.a stock type rim will suck the tires under... it may also stick your hubs out in harms way. thanks for doing this swap. im planning something similar. now i know what it will look like. hows the diesel coming along?

bend up some tube or pipe and use some thin steel to fill in the gaps. or use cut down pricess auto trailer fenders. mount em so there easy to remove for the trail

I thought about tube and sheet metal flares, especially for the rear. The rear wheels are alot more noticable than the front. I have a tubeing bender but I like the idea of the flexable rubber flares. I will have to change out the stock YJ flares for sure.
