Newly re-appointed SRD minister Ted Morton is ramming a pilot project down the throats of the hunting community. >:(

The reality is Ted wants to set up American style paid hunting. This will have other impacts down the road for you non-hunters to - if you privatize one publicly owned resource (wildlife) what is to stop you from doing it to another (i.e. water).

The time is getting near where all of us as Land users - Hunters, fishermen, off-roaders, horse people, hikers etc. are going to have to band together to fight the idiocy. If any group thinks they are exempt, they better pull their head out of the sand. I would rather make concessions to fellow land users to share the land and resources that we all own, rather than have a government preclude us all.

Please visit the above website, and offer your comments. The hunting community is starting to organize, and we would welcome any affiliations to like minded recreational user groups.

Not a smart move for Ted eh, upset a whole bunch of people with guns!! :o
