Possibly heading to Calgary tomorrow, thinking of trying one of the local "Pick Your Butt" places for some parts.....where would be a good place(s) to try?
-
lots of cherokee and comanche at pick n pull last weekend. might be more added already this week.

Is that the one on Barlow?

Yep thats the one(and only).
What sort of Cherokee stuff do you need? I have lots of XJs parts kicking around still.

Just thought I'd look for things I could toss on my daughter's manche....like the kick panel lights. The wiring is there in all the MJ'ss, but they never actually put the lights in them.
-
BTW...what all do you guys take to these places to pull parts? I'm a first-timer.... :-[

It depends what Im going for, but I usually carry my 200 peice socket set a hammer a pry bar and a screw driver. :)
-
Last weekend there were many XJs there and one older commanche.
-
was 2 comanche's on saturday when Nathan and I went can't recall the years.
i usually let nathan bring the tools.
bring a can of food to donate or else bring a loonie to get in.

Depends on what I getting but as a min, multidriver screw driver, vice grips, my pocket leatherman(always have it, knife, pliers.....), large flat blade screw driver, and a socket set, possibly an adjustable wrench. Plus any special tools that I know I'll need to get a particular part. If I go alone I'll often leave the tools in the car, scout things out, figure which rig has what I want and tehn go back for the tools. Cuts down on the wandering around time pushing a wheel barrow full of tools.
