Title: High beam light on inside

I have 1990 Laredo when I removed the windsheild washer bottle and replaced it a light stayed on in the cab. Its the high beam light and when I hit the switch to turn the highs off and on it gets brighter but wont go off. The headlights stay on as well until I pull the plug that's on the washer bottle. Simple probably if you know what is causing it. The unit on the bottle is for ??????? Is it necessary for operation as everything seems to work with it disconnected. Thanks for any help on this.

Is it your daytime running light module causing a problem? Or is it ACTUALLY the light for low washer fluid maybe?
