Hey all,
The weather is great, the wife and kid are out of town and I want to strip the JK. I tried for about 30 minutes to get the doors off, but they would not lift out. The wiring harness is disconnected (not very easy because of a clip) and the torx bolts are gone, but they wouldn't lift out if their mounts. I have a CJ and it's not a big deal to get this done, so maybe I'm being dumb and missing something with this new fangled technology.
Any advice?
Thanks!
Dean

unclip the wiring from under the dash, unbolt the door (torx), remove strap and pull up..

Everything is unhocked (strap and harness) and the torx bolts (2) are removed, but it won't budge... Anyone that walks by and doesn't see me ain't a knockin' while the Jeep's a rockin'!

might just be tight, mine i have to wiggle (open and close) the door a few times as i pull up.

I tried that, but I'll give it another go tomorrow... Thanks, Dude!

Use a dead blow and tap the bottom of the door and lift at the same time. that worked for us.
