Well a little while back I got my new Toyo Open Country M/T's installed and would like to go on a trail ride with some people. Hoping for a leisurely Sunday cruise through Waiparous if anyone is interested?
I've never been out anywhere around Calgary so would be nice to meet up with a few people that have been in the area.
FYI I'm driving a 3/4 Ton Chevrolet Duramax and my new tires are 265/75/16's Pretty impressed with them so far and while working in Tumbler Ridge managed to find a few good mud pits to light them up in.

I might be interested, I was just out there last weekend, very muddy, and wet. I run a stock Liberty, very capable, but can run into problems quite easily. How much of a "cruise" are you looking for? I could do the same run from last weekend, it's an easy trail but with the mud and some snow it a bit challenging, I only got stuck once in that trail. I might bring one of my kids and a friend. Well, let me know, and as the week come to an end, I'll decide weather to go or not.

Well I've yet to go out in the area so not looking to do anything crazy. My truck should be fairly capable and I'm just trying to find something fun to do with my Sunday. I have nothing against people bringing family and friends, the more the merrier. I just have to hit up Princess Auto for some tow ropes before the weekend.
Oh and to clarify I've worked in that area, just haven't gotten around to mudding there.

i might be in mmmmmmmm which vehicle lol. power wagon or jeep :S

Sweet would be nice to get a small group of us out there.
-
So if Sunday is a go, where do we meet and at what time?
-
Somewhere in Cochrane for breakfast or to fuel up?
I see that a fair number of people usually meet at the Smitty's in Cochrane which would work for me.
-
Great Smithy's it is, how about 9:30am?
-
That definitely works for me, I'll have to do a trip to the Flying J tomorrow by the looks of things as its the only place left in the city with "cheap" diesel. If thats even two words you can put together these days.
Anyone else who's looking for an easy Sunday mudding adventure feel free to show up too. I'll be driving a White 3/4 ton Silverado, shouldn't be hard to miss.
-
Great, I'll be in a dark Green Liberty, see you there...

Myself and my buddy with a stock Z71 on mud terrains are in if thats alright. We were planning the same thing....Cochrane around 9:30. Let me know if its a go. And hey Unknown303, try Trio Gas for cheap diesel. I know the gas is usually 3-4 cents cheaper than most places. It's right behind Mohawk on 17th ave SE.

Yes It's a GO!!! Smithy's in Cochrane @ 9:30am, by the looks of things there should be 3 of us + passengers. It shall be a great day :D
-
Sweet! Its only me + passenger on my end but should be a good go.
