Title: '06 Rubicon on 35's needs...?
Post by: redrubi on May 01, 2008, 05:28:02 PM
What exactly would it take in addition to a RE 4.5 SA Super Flex kit would it take to put an '06 Rubi on 35's....? ACOS? Bigger Springs? body lift?
Any opinions?

You could stuff 35's under the 4.5 lift, but you might wanna stick on a 1" body lift. Superior axel and gear's "super 44 kit" might be a good upgrade to help keep you axles from snapping under high torque. And you might want to re-gear you axles around 4.56-4.88 to keep the power up near stock levels. the 4.1g/r you probably have now is still capable for 35's and is in the "better fuel economy" range.

But I dont own a rubi, so I dont really know.  ;D

All you need is a 1-1.25" body lift, and any spring lift of 2-4" to clear 35's.

If its an auto, you want to re gear to 5.13's.

If its a 6 speed, you can live without re gearing.

If you get an RE kit, you want the 4.5 kit, with 3.5 springs.

RE 4.5" are to tall, and really to much height for a rubicon drivline to be really functional, unless yours is an LJ.
