Fathers day run - Sunday, June 15th
Scheduled open run. Will need a trail leader.
-
That is day 2 of the SRD program in Waiporous. i suggest we cancel the run and get as many 4x4 folks at that 2 day seminar. It is beyond important to our future.
:)

ok thanks, moved your post to trail projects and linked it to calendar.
as for this run, it's an open run. we cancelled a couple already this year, don't know if we should cancel more. only need a couple members or an exec to lead the run. we'll see. I'll leave it up for now and see what people want to do.

Yup. I think the last time I was out was when Blair tried to turn his Jeep into a submarine :-[

I am new to the area, and looking for a 4x4 club. If anyone is going out, please let me know. You can call me game on Sunday. I am driving a 92 yj that can get through most stuff. Looking for a good group to go do it with. Anyway, if you do do, where do you meet, and how long of a drive is it from Bragg Creek? Just wondering.
Thanks,
Randy

Yes, the great mud pit that ate my jeep. That was many dents ago. LOL
I will be on the SRD course walking through the woods on Fathersday.

Canceled ? or you won't be there ? or ?
-
is anyone still going??? im up for going out there even if its all wet and muddy...isnt that the point???haha
-
Yes the fathers day run has been cancelled. Please be responsible and stay off the trails when they are most sensitive.
-
I think the point Joel is trying to make is Please make a conscious decision not to wheel when the probability for environmental damage is greater.
Of course we never encourage leaving a trail for those that might interpret it that way.

I didn't think this monsoon would last this long. I will keep peeking at the site and see if I can hook up with you some time in the future.
Cheers,
Randy

Hey guys,
I was working out in Bragg Creek today and thought i would run out and see what Maclean was like after all the rain. Most of the trails looked dry (except for the water holes). I didn't go that far back for risk of getting stuck by myself. Keep in mind it was before that storm in the early afternoon. Just an FYI. For the record I am all for tread lightly and keeping what little space we have intact. Sorry I tried to post a pic of the conditions out there but I am stuck on stupid and it didn't work. Have a great weekend all.
