Saw this yesterday at the Petroleum Show and thought it was interesting.

I worked the show this year. Didn't like it one bit, but I was trapped in the coference side of things.

As for the ditch Hitch... I wonder what the shear load is on the lockpin.

I believe he told me the ditch hitch was rated for 24,000 lbs or something like that and in the video they had, they we launching cars and stuff.  I don't think it would be a problem for Jeepers at all

I dunno...it seems like something else I would have to carry. I have all the trust in my 3/4" (or I have one 7/8" shackle too). It is a neat idea though, and the fact that it pivots sideways is always a good thing.
