Pay or Stay fines

Staying sucks, always pay

Just got out after posting cash. No internet on the inside, just peasant tv after dinner at 4:30, lots of games, reading books, and poker for canteen food. Pay or Stay fines are fines that if you get a fine and the time has lapsed you pay up at the cop shop downtown or you stay @ $160/day weekdays, $60/day weekends. Remand gets you 2 for 1, but now its 3 for 1 because they are triple bunking and shuffling people all around alberta.

Someone is bored in a remand center(on your dime), complaining about the free food he is eating(on your dime), whining about the accommodation provided for him(on your dime).

I think we should go back to the work gangs and get something back for our dime. There is tons of paving that needs to be done.

They do have work crews for minimum security non violent inmates.
