Title: another DIY yj snorkle
Post by: barmanjay on June 27, 2008, 12:37:19 AM
I wanted a snorkle for my small trail runner since the last time I went out,.. i ended up with water in my air box and i didn't like that so much.

I read a few DIY's, but I didn't like the idea of having a filter stickin outside, and i didn't like the idea of going through the drivers side,.. there's lots of crap there already

i blocked off the factory hole on the air box and put a new one on the side using a 2" hole saw and using a male and female threaded 2" abs connector, with one on either side, then caulking it.

about $55 worth of connectors and abs pipe

less than 2 hours

So here are my DIY pics.
