I'm organising a run for the FWS, only a couple of interested so far. We are meeting at the Mclean Creek store at 9:30am. So far me(ZJ, locked with 36"s) my dad(XJ rear locked w/31s) and possibly my sister(ZJ open with 31s).  If you guys have a small group maybe we should join up? We'll be looking for something in the mild to medium range. Was thinking Fisher East but may not do the whole thing if it starts to get too stupid. Its been a long time since I've wheeled in Mclean.

FWS= Four Wheel Stampeders, another 4x4 local club. www.fourwheelstampeders.ca
I'm not actually a CJA member(shh!).
And yes I'm panning to be at the store for 9:30am, look for a big black ZJ.

Hey what trail did you guys end up doing? After we left that guy with the Ramcharger we did Fisher East. Was a good time but I remember why I don't like Mclean, all mud. I think I broke a front D44 spindle somewhere along the way. Found the tire ready to fall off when we reached the store. Fortunatly I live in Cochrane and have a truck/trailer to save my butt.

Thanks again for the assist with the Ramcharger.

We ran up to Top Of The World, and then through Fisher East. That's a long run with a large group consisting mostly of stockers :)

thats a freakin awsome trail! to much over heating though, couldn't do more than 90 on the highway without red lineing the temp , once i got to a car wash and sprayed the rad it when right back to half. maybe a gas powered preasure washer in the trunk is the cure :o  Thanks everyone, had a great time

DAMMIT, sounds like you guys had a good time.

I should have skipped out on my baseball, but then again, I wouldn't have gotten this kick arse cut on my knee, and hands, and shoulder, and elbow.

Hope you guys go out next weekend, I wanna go out once more before I leave for a well needed vacation.

If I'm still in town (looking more and more likely  ;D), I'm up for at least one day, and maybe two. Who's planning on running on Saturday? Sunday?

Mostly stockers again?

I've got one of the good maps that Mr.Beggins had last Sunday and have tweaked my GPS to provide good navigation information.

I think that at least one person with a winch would be a very, very good idea.

I'd like to take a step down in intensity/hole size/amount of winching needed/pucker factor from Fisher East. That's a long, long day.
