Well after about 3 weekend, I finally finished my engine swap.
-A 92 cherokee 4.0 into my 89 YJ which had the 4.2.
My engine ran fantastic, but with next to know compression, I found hitting 100kmh next to impossible. Making it to the trails was just plain annoying. Infact, one hill on the way back from mclean, I had to put it into second gear to make it up  .
So I decided to treat myself :D . It was a fair amount of work, but not super hard. Wiring was a bit overwelming, but with research it wasnt too bad. Kinda cool to say I made my own wiring harness 8) .
Anyways, Im just pretty excited. Took it for a spin, and its FAST....for a jeep
Too all those with a cj or yj 4.2, that are looking for a new engine, this is a pretty good way to go. And if anyone is thinking about doing it, I can send them all the links I have, and offer advice on whatever I can.
