Title: McLean Creek run Sun?
Post by: Rubber Boots on July 23, 2008, 06:03:37 PM: I am planning to head out to McLean Creek sunday. Not to early though. Maybe leave the store 10:30ish. It will be an easy run but hopefully a muddy one. Tyler and I are planning on heading out from the campground into the west side of McLean, anyone wanting to join let me know and I will be finalizing the time by friday.

correction

In dry weather like this,.. muddy areas are less apparent, other than a few 'known' areas.

most of the trails will be bumpy and dry ;)

I drove with my top off last time

Thanks for the offer but I think i got it covered :D I'll prolly drive down to McLean myself... gas is just the issue we'll see.. but really thanks so much i appreciate it :D

My slave cyclider is failing and I have an issue witht he front end that is causing the jeep to pull over to the right when I brake. I hope to get the cylinder done later this evening or at least finished tomorrow morning. If I am not ther by 11 then assume I am not making it. I will have the CB on channel 4 as I come out.

Post by: Rubber Boots on July 27, 2008, 10:05:03 PM: well I wasn't able to get to the jeep till sunday morning because of the rain, I think the pipe itself is leaking not the cylinder, and there is a crack through the crossmember under the tranny/transfer case. It is going to need welding or replacement. Sigh. I imagine if I had gone out I would have broken it right through.

Good thing you were smart and didn't... :) I'm sad I missed the fun.. but either way I wouldn't have been going HAHA
