No Posting of Trail Pictures

In view of the difficulty to the off-road community in maintaining an open trail system, we have decided to minimize any images which may be detrimental to our efforts to continue to use the trail systems.  Since discretionary calls have continued to be a subject of sometimes heated and deteriorating debate, we have elected to ban all trail pictures and pictures deemed to be a negative image on the open forums.  The CJA member forums and private gallery are available for CJA members private use.  The CJA will provide a limited, controlled gallery for non member viewing.

Fug: what are the specs on that ZJ there
Title: Re: post your rig
Post by: fug on January 04, 2009, 09:41:08 PM
The black ZJ is a 93 with a 4.0, auto, and a 242 T-case.  The tranny is suposedly bad but I haven't had to time to look to deeply into it.  It drove onto the trailer and off... but suposedly after driving a while it starts to slip badly and won't move anymore.

There's another ZJ behind the fence that's a 94 with a rare 4.0, 5 speed combo.  Engine has real low compression so my plan was to part out the 93 and put the engine from it in the 94.

The way my lot is situated only a couple of houses can even see my garage/collection of Jeeps so that helps a lot I think.   I don't plan to keep this many around forever.  If the weather would cooperate and I get some time ... I'll be parting out one of the ZJ's and possibly one of the XJ's as well.

Damn, if the 93 didnt have tranny issues I would probably take it off your hands.  How many K's and estimated repair costs?
Title: Re: post your rig
Post by: fug on January 05, 2009, 08:50:03 PM
Somewhere around 260K on it... and I dunno what it would cost to repair.  I was planning to pull the engine and put it in my 94ZJ and part the rest out.

You are looking for a beat up 93 ZJ on purpose ;)
