So jeep comes in from out of town with a bad noise in the rear diff. here is what I found. I still do not know how this ting was still driving must have been the locker witch still works. I have a video of the carrier moving in and out about 2"

there is no bearings left on the sides of the carrier and only 3 bolts holding the ring gear on.
I will finish the removing all the parts tomorrow but I think it a write off......
