What vintage is that 8274?
its old...and i need a few parts. i took some pics to send to Warn as i can not locate a serial number.
It works with in cab controls (stock warn jeep stuff)
The winch has been used by former owner with no problems but others have suggested i am missing a few peices. The old owner swears it needs nothing.
i will let you know what i find out from Warn.

i do want to go and wheel but the first run has to be tame.
A shakedown run and confidence builder (the short 5 might be a white knuckler on stuff my rubi cakewalked)...

Well that winch ended production in 1973. Amazing how clean this winch is for being 37+ years old.
Maybe i should sell it.

The winch is a Belleview/Warn 5687. The predecessor to the 8724.

Nice, I wheeled with a guy from ECO that had some of the first versions of the 8274. He cleaned it up and it worked great. It is a SOLID winch design
