Title: Where can I buy steel and they cut it to?

Just got a decent hitch from the yard, all 8 bolts stripped from years of rust, going to make my own backing plate with welded bolts.
I know they got to be that top graded bronze bolt, and will switch it from the 15mm to 9/16th

Where can I buy steel where they cut it as well?


The backing plate I got is narrow, width is about the same as 15mm bolt.  I think what I will try to do is get the backing plate the same length as the wall to wall length inside the frame rail.  Then try to think up something good to get the plate over that small hump right near the bumper.

i can cut , fit and drill the backing plates you need...just need an idea of what you want and hole locations, sizes etc and i can whip one up within a couple days..even weld the nuts on for ya...and for you,,hmm free sound good?
