We've had this car for 8+ years sitting at our farm. 81 amc eagle sx4 4.2, np129 auto :(
I would type out a list of things to do but It's huge, onto the photos.

My mother in law had one of these. I remember it fondly. Yes, I like my mother in law :) It is a unique car that has some great possiblities but you HAVE to list what you are going to do ;)

Anytime...especially for a cool rig like an sx4. ;)

It has nothing on cj's... okay that may be a lie. :P

Nice body. Too bad the interior is so messed up. Driveline parts are pretty easy to come by as there is usually a Jeep part that can be substituted. Body and interior parts, well thats another story......
My wife's 1981 SX4 sport looked like this car except no roof rack and different rims. Even had the white fog light covers.

Nice looking Eagle, I have been searching high and low for an SX4 with no luck. Guess it just means I have more time to work on my wagon. :P

Found 2 parts cars in an undisclosed location might be picking them up seeing how one is a rust free shell.

Lol.
Nope its not a woody just plain white with black gravel guard trim...only issue is the clutch master cylinder is pooched have to find a new one (have to put the trim back on under the doors too once I'm done with the gravel guard and rust repair). Then down the road toss some coil spacers on it and some more leafs in the rear so it has some much needed clearance. :P
Pictures.

10years ago I couldn't find a rebuilt clutch master so I ended up rebuilding it. Was able to get a kit. Was very easy. Might be able to go to a hydraulics shop and match up the o-rings.

Bit of an up date not much work got done today took off the front clip and now I can start pulling the engine. The rust is a lot worse then I hoped might be picking up a shell.
on to the pic.
