Well, the forum is alive!
As always, you have to register to post into the forums.
If you are a CJA paid member, please PM me so I can add you to the CJA members group.
Other than that, I will be doing lots of fine tuning over the next few weeks, but always, there will be an announcement here when I do, and a time of when I will bring the forum down to make any changes.
Thanks, have fun, and welcome back!
Cheers
Chris

Question: Why does it log me out after such a short period of inactivity? Is this adjustable?

Question: Why does it log me out after such a short period of inactivity? Is this adjustable?
Yes, the default timeout for inactivity is 3600 seconds, or one hour.
Which isnt a short time, that is pretty standard.
I don't want to change it, as that is the default value. And on much larger and busier forums on the web, running phpbb, the timeout is like 5 minutes.
So in response, why? Because it keeps the site running quicker.
Adjustable? yes. Will I? Not right now.
Cheers

What I meant was if it was adjustable by myself for my logon, but you have answered my question. Thanks.
Guess I'll just have to post at least once per hour

What I meant was if it was adjustable by myself for my logon
No, its a system wide setting. Though, you only have to remain browsing the forum to remain active. You dont have to post every hour.
