We have many great sponsors returning again this year and several new ones.
Come on down 10AM-2PM for great food at Boomtown, awesome prizes and the chance to pit your Jeep against all others in contests designed to test it's abilities.
Only 5 more days to go! Thank you in advance to all of our wonderful sponsors and to everyone who helped make this event possible.

::) yea that's true its still a bit of a mall crawler but when i get a couple bills paid off it will start looking like a "real" wheeler. I think ill start with a new bumper and winch then bushwhacker flat fender flares. After wheel spacers and 35's with some new rims. ;D

-
Just show up early and offer to help

So how do we register? Or can we just come visit and see? It would be nice to put some faces to people on the forums and I'd like to come check out some jeeps and get some ideas for mine ;D
-
Just come on down, and sign up at the registration tent! :)
-
I still don't have my jeep back so I wont be attending ::)

Im looking forward to this! I saw it last year bit was driving the ex's Stratus.
If I'm not too hungover, I'll be there for the setup.

The run was good, but I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Immortal had the most fun, turning his drag link to spaghetti and dislodging 2 tires from the rims. 3 1/2 hour recovery...got off the trail at around 10 pm or later . Kudos to the great leadership we had out there and all the patience and Brian's Trailer. I think I'll go ahead and order my Currie steering set up now...

Yes it is dark.
And know Trev doesn't normally trailer his rig :)
-
Thanks all who ran cable (many, many miles of it), abused their own winches, compressor and vehicles, shoveled, lent out truck/trailer, and in general.... who helped haul my arse out of a very "interesting" spot.
As Aaron said... "if it would go 200 mph, it would make a decent NASCAR" (turns left really good... right, hmmm, not so much).
I may have lost, but I was not beaten. Although that pic (^) really hurts....
-
Really enjoyed the run today. Had brought out some family out today on the run. Eric has downs and the enjoyment of driving over some of the hills and obstacles was awesome with him in the passenger seat.
-
Thanks everyone that came out it was a long day BUT fun can't wait to do it again .
-
Thanks everyone for a great show and shine. Learned a lot from all of you and look forward to getting some mods on my own rig.
Way to go guys on the run afterwards. Some places really challenged me, and that was a great recovery of Immortal's rig. Thank God for some patient and knowledgable trail guides!
See you all out on the trail.
Jeff

Here us my Jeep years ago with it's first run up the ramp,.. This was my last show and shine I went to before this years finally not broken

you gots skeletons in your jeep Trevor
-
Well the day was pretty good, first time at show and shine and it was beautiful, thanks for nice presents.
The trail was something ;D i loved it and thanks for all the spotters. This one i found challenging in the beginning (for me) but due to all you guys we came out of it just with few scratches.
And for the amazing winching work, i thought the jeep is going to have to stay there, but no you guys pulled it off, it was a sight. I personally would trust my jeep with any of you guys. I wish i could have been more help but i would have been just in the way. Thanks for the great day.
Anton.

X2 with Anton, it was great to finally join on a run. Well organized and an additional course in advanced recovery. I learned a lot about wheeling I didn't know (airing down) and definitely felt the benefits of such skills. Thanks again to the spotters and everyone along the trail for helping out and making a great night!
-
Had a good time. I rode with Trev and got to know him in a way I would have rather not of.
The only difference between being stupid and being a hero is pulling it off. If the Bear made it everyone would be buying Trev a beer but as it he ended up buying the beers. that is wheeling.
-
Yes that was a great day. Had a ton of fun and definitely learned alot from that recovery process (mainly though that I should let my wife know ahead of time that I will be late getting home if Trevor is on the run) ;D
My dad had a great time as well. He was like a little kid telling my wife and mom about the recover/tire fixing/xjack. Now I just need to convince him he needs to buy a Jeep.
-
Tell Jim that he needs an XJ.... solid top, so the dust won't bug his eyes. ;)

Ouch Trev, that does not look like fun, is that we call "low" steer now? You should have had a few more race stickers on your rig. Nothing a little belt dressing won't rub out.

I said I wanted to talk him into buying a Jeep...not deter him. :D
