Title: Price to ship Tom Woods SYE & Driveshaft
Post by: jeepjones on November 07, 2011, 12:52:40 PM: Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much it costs to ship a Tom Woods DS and AA SYE from Utah To Calgary? Is it worth ordering or will it be cheaper to get the AA SYE & DS here?

Post by: LLYJ on November 07, 2011, 01:35:01 PM: Got my AA SYE/Tom Woods combo off ebay - shipping from California was included - I won it for about $ 350 USD but I haven't run across too many folks who were lucky to get both for that price on Ebay

If you do ship be wary of some big fees that may be added on - especially with UPS

Post by: jeepjones on November 08, 2011, 03:37:36 AM: So far buying the SYE here seems to be the way to go, even most of the stuff on ebay was more expensive when shipping and duties were added up. After shipping and taxes the price works out to be the same or more than what it would cost to get one from Northridge. North Shore Off Road out of Vancouver was only $5 cheaper than Northridge. Seeing how Stan has helped me in the past I'll just order through him.

But one is made for the TJ rubicon with a flange on the tcase side

The other is in peices and needs 3 u joints so I'm sure that one can be rebuilt with u joints that fit a yj
