(iphone programs available too) A great setup really because you can scan all codes (That I am aware of) Clear codes - graph real time data - and view all sorts of parameters via customizable screens. Cheap and effective tool.

Post by: cLAY on July 04, 2012, 11:33:08 PM: For just OBD2 codes and ABS Napa and Canadian Tire sell the Innvoa brand scanner. Works fine for just reading codes, not all units do ABS. The one I got required a $50 upgrade to enable ABS.

I bought that one and it seems to be pretty good. I'm not positive but I don't think it does ABS codes just OBD and OBD 1 codes. You get a disc with it that has a ton of Manufacturer Specific codes listed as well as the generic codes listed.

The more you pay, the more you get. ABS and ABS erase capability usually come with professional quality units and cost way more than $400.

True. But any cheap scanner that boasts ABS is hit-and-miss. Any professional tool that has bidirectional control is not cheap.
