Hey Jeep lovers! I am considering selling my 1995 Jeep YJ. Sitting presently at 127714 mileage. Always parked inside and the tiniest amount of rust over front wheel wells. It is in excellent condition and we cannot seem to find anything comparable on Kijiji. I don't really need to sell it but we really need to do some serious landscaping out here in the bush. The $ would come in handy right now. $5000 is not appealing to me but if you think it would sell for more I would like to hear from you. Just some honest Jeep lovers advice would be most welcome.

you don't want an honest opinion trust me.
post up a bunch of pics and thats a start.
i can tell you this; the YJ crap on line has been there for ever, and will be there forever. if its a good deal and its posted on kijiji, it will be gone in a day. thats a promise. so you can throw kijiji listings out the window.
you MIGHT be able to get 5k for a good low km and clean YJ if someone is looking specifically for a YJ. but when you get into the 5k and north price ranges, you are starting to compare with unolested early 2000 era TJs, which can be tough to beat/compare.
anything more you are hoping to land a very specific buyer, and are essentially ruling out the market on the sale.

Like Jackstand says, Kijiji is a bad indicator. If its priced right, it will be gone in a week. Everyone wants jeeps, and people are always scouring for them. As an example I recently sold a decent - not great - but decent YJ. 1994, 4 cyl, drove fine, need a clutch SC, good windshield frame. Listed for $1500 bucks, had to drop it down to $1000. Dudes that want to build YJs into serious wheelers buy units like the one I have - relatively rust free 4.0L, AX15, higher KM, for around $2000. Swap in the parts they need, and don't worry about the rest. Guys that want a Jeep for looks, are probably going to spend that 5K your after on a decent CJ (seen a few of those around for $3500 lately). Guys that aren't worried about price, like Johnny said, will be buying up a 00' TJ. Even if you had a factory condition YJ with all the goodies, it probably would fetch much more than 5k. A good condition YJ is kind of a niche market. Rather buy a builer with cash left over for money, or start with something cooler or better (newer) in the first place. Just the hard truth - sorry bout that. As a reference, I bought from a member a good condition, mechanically perfect, with hard top soft top, up optioned sahara for $2500 of a member on here two years ago. Doubt prices have gone up....

Of all the wranglers YJ's are typically the lowest priced. 5k for a YJ, even in great shape, is a very high price. You could list it for that and hope someone comes along, but you would likely sit on it for an eternity.
3500 would move reasonably, 4000$ is a realistic top end.
Typically speaking. There are exceptions to everything.

you lost me at 127 thousand miles being really low mileage.
