Not sure which day but Saturday is in the middle of the the long weekend for me.
Waiperous trails of some sort. Who’s interested and what day works best?
-
I'll know more tomorrow. Just checking out my drive shaft now..

Tentatively “in”

So we have some options. Waiting to see how much snow we get over the next couple days. But I hear the transalta road has a lot of snow to play in. We can hit lost knife and play in snow there too. Or winter trails.
I figure meet at smittys parking lot in Cochrane for about 9am, hit the road about 930am ish...

Thanks. Is this run stock friendly?

I suspect with the extra snow a stock Rubicon with good tires would do ok. What version Jeep do you want to bring?

TJ non rubicon AT tires.

TJ non rubicon AT tires.
Might want to hold off until the trails get a little more packed down and the snow melts a little. I’m expecting to use tire chains and a lot of winching.
-
Yep, expecting it to be pretty challenging... thinking now I should have invested in a second set of chains... 8)
I'll be at Smitty's for 8ish, if anyone else was thinking breakfast.
-
No chains no winch. I guess I'd better stay at home.

Once the weather gets better there are a lot more trail runs, stock friendly as well.

Should have about 4 Jeeps today. Chilly outside, dress warm for the day.

So 20 min into the trail my block heater blew out of the engine. Messy. Spent a couple hours getting it back in. Thanks to Matt for the added tools that I didn't have. Repair only lasted about 5 min. Eric was nice enough to tow me back to my truck. This is why I trailer my jeep even though I could drive into the trail. Saved my bacon!
Thanks again for the help today guys. Hope the rest of the afternoon went smoothly!!

Besides Dave’s issue... it was a nice day out. Hit a shorter trail after saving Dave’s bacon. Was a beautiful day out!
-
Not a problem Dave. It’s what we do... one day it’ll be our turn!
Besides that big Yota would’ve gotten himself into trouble much further down the trail if it wasn’t for us! ;)
