Hey everyone! So I just got a new to me 2015 JK. Pretty well stock aside from a bush guard and new headlights coming in the mail. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for a newbie such as myself? Never had anything that could go off road of my own so I’m pretty green haha.

Welcome to the jeep world! Your wrangler is very capable right out of the box. Bring it out on a trail run and go from there. Then see what and if you want any upgrades!

What would be a good beginner trail?

Right now with the snow that’s still on most trails I’d say they are all more difficult than usual. But the waiperous area offers a lot of beginner options. Transalta trail is very popular. Don’t go alone no matter how easy the trail is.

Thanks for the info! I guess I’ll have to wait until this whole pandemic is over to hit the trails with others because of the social distancing stuff. I’ve been going on some dirt roads by my house but it just doesn’t really satisfy me haha.

Yes we have really slowed down on our trail runs and club meetings. We all have to wait it out. Eventually we will get out and hit some trails, even if it means we stay 6 feet apart!
