Title: Volunteers Needed September 25/26, 2020
Post by: Tee-Hee on August 27, 2020, 08:51:01 PM
Calgary ATV Riders Association (CARA) are looking for volunteers to attend a day class and/or field work for bioengineering in the Ghost Public Land Use Zone (https://open.alberta.ca/dataset/456a507b-66e0-4e9f-b1fa-4132ccd3597c/resource/575f585d-059b-4a34-8ed6-a93aa835ef1c/download/aep-ghost-pluz-georeferenced-map-2020.pdf). The in class date is Friday, September 25, 2020 and the in field work will be completed on Saturday, September 26, 2020. The time and place for these dates are not available at this time. You will be advised of this information closer to the date.

This project is in collaboration with Alberta Environment & Parks, Trout Unlimited Canada and Ghost Watershed Alliance Society. There will be a couple projects happening such as a meadow creek reroute and Trout Unlimited Canada is moving a bridge, creating a small reroute and will staking on the Saturday.

If you are interested in volunteering for either the 25th or 26th or you have any questions, please send an email to Ken Spring ([email protected]). Don’t forget to let him know that Trails 4 Tomorrow sent you! It sounds like there are opportunities to also volunteer between September 22-26, 2020. Please let Ken know if you are interested during those dates also.

Just a reminder that if you are interested in receiving volunteer opportunities to your inbox, email [email protected] and request to be added to the volunteer list.

Depending on the Friday time, I should be able to attend both.... gotta work til at least 4pm on Friday. If the in class portion is after 4, it shouldn't be a problem.
