Title: Gladiator re gearing
Post by: Rye on November 30, 2020, 01:19:56 PM
This is mostly for the broken axle crew.  Picked up new rubi gladiator. Lift and put 35's on.  Used tazer  mini to program tire size. Then completely forgot that I have a trialer. Towed trialer down stoney to test. Way less power (whoops)  what gearing should I go for? 4.88 or more or less ?

4.88 would put you at a happy medium. If you want really good towing capability and not as concerned about offroad performance then 4.88. If you’re looking for a little more going capability but more offroad performance then 5.13.
Also this is if you have the automatic transmission. If you ah e the manual id lean towards 5.13 anyways.
If you have 4.10 currently then 4.56 isn’t really noticeable.
