Hey everyone,
Interested in wheeling Saturday the 13th? Good, keep reading 8)
Meet at 10:00 by Mclean Creek Store Parking Lot and leave by 10:30. Trail type will be tailored to the group attending but keep in mind I want to keep it on the entertaining side.
I will be in a Blue TJ on 35's

Yeah it will have too, I will call it on Friday whether this will happen or not. Even though its damp out now it will probably be pretty dry and warm heading into the weekend sooo....Probably end up going hiking instead.
Anyone know the best spot to check for the status of OHV bans? The fire ban website doesn't seem to update on the OHV ban status, or maybe I am just incapable of using the site properly.

When you click on an area the side bar that pops up will show if there's an OHV ban. McLean is in the red blob west of Calgary, Forest Protection Area and says the OHV ban is still on as of now. It's a bit of a blanket area that covers most of the province as you can see. Hopefully with the rain we've got and a little bit more they will update it by the end of the weekend or so.

Hmm, could have sworn it didn't show OHV info earlier, just.the fire ban info.

Well I am going to call it, with the weather up north showing no rain and many fires burning there is zero chance the ban will be lifted.
Hope all those who have to evacuate get through this all with as little damage/disruption as possible.
