I am sure the job is yours if you want. We need a few jeeps to play skid steer. I am brining my son out for the day. My plan was for him and I to work on burning all the branches off the fallen trees that day. He likes to burn things. :o

Pretty sure I'll be coming out.
That trail OK for a full size truck or is it full of killer tree stumps ?

Lots of stumps to go around. Most have been cut low to the ground but not all. Your TJ or quad would do better picking your way through them.

Hi, I'm pretty new with all of this, never even been to wiaprous but I'd like to help out if you need another guy. I got a four wheel drive half ton, and a chain saw, and if need I could bring my quad as well. Just give me a little info and I'll be there. Thanks

Sure bring your quad. About half the group out there will be from the Calgary Quad Squad. Thanks to everyone hard work the trail is starting to get long enough to be a long walk with a chain saw.

The best way to find it is to meet us at Smitty’s in Cochrane. See Dom's post at the top. If you don’t make it then:
North on the Hwy 40 trunk road past the Summer Village of Waiparous, Into the Forestry Reserve; past the camp grounds near the Ghost River Waiparous Valley Road goes off to the west and follows the River; take the right fork when the road splits. Camp Mocking Bird is located on the first part of the road just after you turn off of HWY 40. So you know you are on the right road.
Following is a link to SRD web site. It has a link to a map showing the part of the road/trail that was closed and that we are working on bypassing.

Thanks for your interest in the project. You should have no problem finding us at Smitty's, just just ask of the table full of Jeep Club members they usualy know who we are.
Thank,
Blair

I am going to come and help as well. My quad is down right now but I can bring the ZJ. I am sure that is will make it down the trail if quads can ;) I will bring my saw with me. Is there any other gear that will be needed?
