Lunchbox Lockers
« on: October 16, 2008, 05:58:21 PM »
Any comments on lunchbox lockers for a daily driver?  ARB's would be nice, truetracs would probably be best for the wheeling I do but by the sounds of it lunchbox lockers are closer to my price range.

Which brand would be best if any?
This is not 'Nam, this is wheeling.  There are rules.

from what I have heard Aussie Lockers are the way to go.  A lunchbox locker will behave just like any other automatic locker like a Detroit, but once people get used it how they act, usually it is not an issue

I had the Detroit easy locker, it had great traction however it would occasionally wind up and give a good bang from the rear end.  Scared me a couple of times just because of the noise but had no control issues, even on deerfoot when it was icy...  It was in my price range at the time too....
