Trans case bearing

Hey all, just wondering if i can change front output shaft bearing on the t case without removing the whole thing?i ran it super low on fluid and now that shaft moves up and down quite a bit. i believe it is np231j
locked and loaded

If you ran it super low on fluid I would be inclined to open up the t-case and have a look.  I have personally experience the wrath of no oil being splashed around in the t-case.

They are not that difficult to remove.

ok thanks! i have the chrysler service manual for it so maybe ill tackle it.
