noisy cluth

my cluth is making lots of noises
more so when i press the cluth or even just lean my foot softly on it

any body have this problem
is it cold relative or just some thing that needs to be changed out

my brother figures its the release bearing

could be release bearing.  or as i am learning, could be many other things

if it was the clutch wouldnt i be loosing power to the wheels

Throw-out bearing.

Mud and stuff kills em, did mine this past summer. Not too bad with hand tools.
It's a sealed unit, not rebuildable. Fairly cheap at the dealership.

my brothers got his at napa for 110.


we might give it a shot today on his and then if it goes well then mine


anyone with a good idea of time and procedures for this
