Any thoughts on the new additions to the team at the trade deadline? A.K.A Jokinen and (I guess not so new) Leopold?
Personally, I was a big Lombardi fan and hated to see him go...

Me too, but it seems like a wise decision to have traded for a center forward that can score..  Oli is already 20+ in goals for this season.
guess we'll find out, I believe they are both expected to play in 2nites game..
I think it was a fair one compared to some trades made in the past.
It's sad to see fav's go & it always seems to disrupt the teams ability to play after a trade...???
Have you looked at our injury report.. We have a lot of top players not playing due to injury right now..

I know...I guess it was greatly needed with Giordano, Bert, Bourque and Langkow out!
I am just worried about our special teams now such as penalty kill.. Lombo was GREAT at that and I don't think Oli can fill those types of shoes.  Maybe Moss and Boyd will have to step it up.

Either way, i am nervous for tonight's game...

Our penalty killing was what 3rd overall? Look at our short handed goals so far this season also...
Now you have me worried too...lol

Looks like we did ok on the PK! Killing 5/5! I am still judging to see about Jokinen even though he scored twice last night... ::)

Not to forget that the first PK was a 2 man short...whew! Not bad for a start, but how consistent will this be? Looks like the top line has good chemistry together though... Nice to see Moss & Leopold working some magic out there also.
It's going to be exciting.. here comes the nail biting games ..
