Pick-Your-Part Calgary
« on: April 27, 2009, 04:11:10 PM »
Hey folks...

Anybody been in the Calgary Pick-Your-Part recently?  Happen to see if there were any Liberties in there?  I was hoping to see a Liberty in there with tow hooks I could scavenge for my '08.  Happen to see any new (2008+) KK Liberties?

Thanks for the help.
Brendon

you won't be finding anything like that in  PYP............. generally for jeeps you'll see older cherokees and grand cherokees, maybe a YJ on occasion.  never seen a TJ/WJ/KJ(liberty)/ or anything else newish

Rats.

I haven't been there in years, I'm sure their inventory has changed substantially since my last visit.  I thought some KJs were still old enough to be found... but oh well.

I always found it a bit of a shame in there, how the one part you're looking for, somebody else has ruined to get at a part they want.  Why can't we all be a 'little' nicer to the cars in there?

I agree, it is good to be reasonable when tearing parts out of them because somebody might need the exact thing you broke in half to get to your part....but at the same time you cant take every little nut and bolt off to get what you need. Gotta find that medium!
