We got some maps etc. there and it was somewhat interesting, but not many 4x4 people there etc.   I thought I'd see more there.

Any idea if/when we are having another volunteer trail person course?  I had been sick the entire week before the last one, so I never a) got the paperwork in and b) attended.

It will be likely a year but thouse of us that took it can take you out. Dom and I each have two placards.

Good stuff. I have wanted to get out and help with projects and now Nicky is old enough that he can probably play while we work etc.

I have been planning on taking track information from the GPS along official trails and providing that to the calgarymaps initiative.  They created a downloadable map set for various GPS units that have the trails in and around Calgary on it. (Hiking, cycling etc. but also some 4x4, quad and bike too.)

I guess we should re-join :)

Yes, you should.  ASRD came out with an on line map of the Ghost Trails this week that can be down loaded to a GPS unit.
The link is posted in the land issues area.

I will be down at ASRD today and will ask about garbage bags for your clean up efforts. Did you manage to reach them by phone regarding the bin?
