88 Wrangler Problem

I tipped my 88 yj acouple of weekends ago and know I have to replace the door, I went to pick a part and found two 93 Yj doors. I have put the new driver side door on, but I am having problems trying to realign the door hinges. But the problem I am running into is trying to take the screws out of the hinges. I was just wondering if any one has had the same type of problem before and how did they fix it? I have tried the right bit, but its just not strong enough! Any help would be appreciated !

I use heat and an air impact, works every time unless they holes are stripped.  ;)

The compressor I use isnt strong enough to power an impact hammer,but the heat idea I have ponder on. I guess ill just try that and hope for the best! Thanks for the reply

try an impact driver that you hit with a hammer to operate; If you have stripped the torx head then drill and use an easy out or just drill out the bolt and get a new one
I started out with nothing and so far I have most of it left

x2 in the impact driver.....use a good quality torx bit too.....the cheapie ones just make a mess.  The worst case senario is you drill the head of the fastner off and the hinge comes right off. Then usually the shank of the bolt comes out of the insert fairly easily. Most of the time it is the taper of the bolt that is painted and siezed in the hinge plate and the threads are fine. So if you cant unscrew it drill it and then use pliers or vise grips to unscrew the bolt. The bolt can be replaced with a stainless allen head taper bolt commonly available at most bolt supply stores. Juat take one of the shanks in and they will find them for you. I get my replacements at Edmonton fastner I beleive that Calgary fastner is part of the same company..
