Usually I shoot my own meat, but on years like this when my luck is...well crappy...you can always find a friend who hunts.

Or plan B is the butcher shop in Airdrie right by the Safeway and VHQ (or is it a block buster?) has the BEST game meat I've ever eaten from a butcher shop.
Elk burgers....mmm to die for!  ;D

Check with Horizon Meats in the North East. I think they carry wild meats. I know they process it for sure.

Didn't you eat a burger at the  club's anniversary Trevor? Guess where I stored that meat? Next to the "unmentionables" in the freezer.
I can picture people recoiling in horror; who ate those burgers.

I actually have a seperate freezer for edible meat . I'm going hunting this week Joel. I might have some deer meat(whitetail hopefully) You are welcome to some. What kind of cuts were you looking for?

What kind of deer meat are you looking for?

Balzac meats has elk.  Price is pretty good there too from what I remember.  They also have Bison and beef.  The Bison roasts are pretty awsome.

If it's white tail or Mule you're looking for and don't hunt you could always fab up a bumper with stainless steel (because it's food you wouldn't want them rusting) spikes out the front as to catch the deer before you run them over.  You'd have to drive around in the country at dusk or dawn but I'm sure you'd find something pretty quick.  The other bonus would be you don't have to throw it in the back because it's already stuck to the front and it'd  be Kosher.   ;D

Guess who's got some Deer meat for you buddy?

So steak, roast, or sausage?

Send me a PM and we'll go from there. I have to get some more casings if you want sausage (no dirty comments Jeep people)
