coolant temp sensor

i want to change my coolant temp sensor but can't fint the darn thing on the jeep 2.5 in my tj, i'm looking for the one that would read to the gauge on the dash not the one on the goss neck, any help would be great thxx

I could be wrong, it's been a while since I had a 2.5 but I recall the temp sensor being right near the front and on top...As I recall, I would unplug it while adjusting the belt cuz the wires were in the way...

There is only one temp sender for both computer and dash, The engine control module tells the body control module what the temp is and sets the gauge to the correct temp. It is the sensor in the thermostat housing
