Propane = easy, clean burning, and versatile. It needs no priming. It has two downfalls - you can't always tell how much is left in a cylinder, and it doesn't work that well when it's really cold.
White gas = a pain in the rear compared to propane, but I think it's cheaper to run and it works well in the cold.
Pick one fuel and get all of your goodies (stove, lantern, heaters?) running on the same stuff.
If you do go with propane, you've already got a good MSR, so you can fall back on that for winter use.
