Kill Switch

Anyone interested and capable of installing a kill switch mechanism in my TJ?  I am not sure how much work this might be but I would be willing to pay.  The more money I put into this damn thing the more security conscious I am getting.

Also are these club devices any good? Do they help or can you get them off just by watching a youtube instructional video??

There are a few detailed write-ups online about kill switches in different models of Jeeps. It usually takes me an hour to wire one up.
Locking steering wheel devices are a good idea to deter lazy thieves. They are worth the modest price to buy one. Steering wheels can still be cut to remove them though. Hopefully they see the lock and move on to easier prey.

club for steering wheel is basically useless. you can cut throught the steering wheel with a hack-saw in 30 sec and take it off. I bought the one that braces onto the clutch/brake.  heavy duty, and you cant/wont cut through clutch/brake.

That's why the guy above said to deter "lazy" thieves.  A thief would need to bring a hacksaw with him to cut the steering wheel. Keep in mind that a determined thief can steal or bypass almost any car alarm.  It's best to do a combination of things to slow or deter a would be thief like a fuel pump kill switch, steering wheel lock or battery/ignition cut-off switch etc. If some scumbag really wants your vehicle he/she will steal it. Just do as much as you can to slow them down or have them move on to some other poor sap.

in my mustang i had a few years ago, if I was ever in a sketchy neighborhood, or had a feeling, I would pull the coil-to-distributor wire.  pretty hard to make it go without that.
