CB install for cash ...
« on: July 23, 2010, 01:08:54 AM »
Now before shooting me down ... I did use the search button and found the reference to the Road King Truck Stop shop ... BUT ... my thinking is:
why pay a shop a handfull of money if I can 'give' that money a forum member that does CB installs on the side ...

So anybody on the forum that does CB installations on the side ... and does that somebody want to make some cash :-)

PS: I am a total NOOB when it comes down to CB's, car electricity etc ... so I need somebody to guide me during the purchase + walk me through the basics as well :-0

If you want some help, I'd be willing to lend a hand.....of course, I'm always finding it hard to find free time to do stuff like this.

I can help with power / wiring / mounting, but I don't know how to tune an antenna or do anything like that.

Hi guys,

I am of to Seattle for work, returning saterday ... I was hoping to get a CB over there (cheaper ??) ... but since I am a total noob, I might just go into a CB shop and get some general advise ... who knows, if there is a significant price difference, I might bring one back ...

Had a fewpeople offering their help, so I should be fine :-)

Thanks again everybody ...

there are some good threads on here if you search, you will find all the good info you need before you buy anything.
