4x4 light problem

does anyone have any ideas why my 4x4 light stopped turning on i have a 1998 cherokee and the light worked fine untill i changed my transmission a fewweeks ago and now it wont turn on when its in 4 wheel drive any ideas?

I only really have been under TJ's, but first thought - did you hook up the t-case wires again?
If it's done by the t-chase shifter, did they get knocked loose?

Yeah we hooked them back up and then i went back under last weekend just to make sure they are all hooked up so i am at a lose its not a huge issue really because the 4x4 still works its just nice to have the indicator light you know.

Time for a multimeter to test the TC switch etc. I would guess. I'm guessing because I haven't seen a wiring diagram or FSM for those.
