Blower Resistor location?
« on: June 10, 2008, 12:03:24 PM »
Ok, I could spend the time ripping the dash apart to find where the blower resistor is in the '06 TJ, but I figure there is someone out there that has gone through that already...hoping for a little help here....
Anybody know the location of the resistor for the heater/blower in the '06 TJ Rubicon?
Thanks everyone!

If I remember correctly. On my 2001 Sahara it is located on the outside of the blower motor down at the passengers feet.

That is where mine is in my 99 XJ... silly mistake I made. Have (had?) a water leak coming though the blower. Ripped it all apart, removed the resistor pack, turned on the blower to help dry it out. Burnt out the pack, now all I have is high speed. $80 at autovalue. Should have it working properly tonight.
if we were smart with our money we wouldn't own Jeeps.
Here's your cup of STFU... ENJOY!

I was Jeepless since 2006. So I had to make a tough decision; the wife, or get a Jeep. So glad to be a Jeep owner again! I still miss my FSJ the most
