Stuff like this...

really doesn't help our cause I'm thinking.  Its the US version of the UK show Top Gear and  I know its just "entertainment" but you'd think they could show some responsiblity fer chrissakes.  Complete idiots.

It does make me see Alaska even more tho.  Lots of awesome scenery.

Good episode, the presenters for this version still haven't grown on me though
Made me cringe how they beat on the trucks like that, taking it half slow through the water probably would have done wonders for the dodge

ive been watching a lot of Top Gear UK and i really like the show. this USA version is lame. the 3 hosts are trying to act the whole time. tanner foust is a douche bag too, but not as much as the other 2 nobody's on the show. and they couldnt even do some research about fourwheeling or the trucks they were using, considering that toyota truck was built better then the 3 american trucks and has just as much of a following as the big 3 do. the 3 guys on top gear uk seem to be good friends and just tell it how it is. more like the average guy driving high end cars.

Stupid idiots. Don't even know whats under the hood. Said the 2001 ram had a 5.7. 5.7 didn't come out until 2003, that thing had either a 5.2 or 5.9. Never mind the "diesel" chev with a carb.

Toughest truckchallenge  and they are all using suspension parts that are after market... Or the fact that they throw 800lbs in the back... OR the fact that they couldnt even compare truck of the same era....

Im only halfway through part 2, but these guys are pissing me off. I liked the Top Gear (uk) where they did the same thing... the right way.

PS. I like how they have "never seen their trucks before" yet they all have 5 point harnesses and full roll cages.

Yeah, just don't take these shows too seriously. its not an actual test even the uk versions tests are a joke. Its just mindless entertainment. But i agree that they could atleast try  to be original and get thier facts straight. Even the uk version is getting too cheesy for my tastes

That is just a horrible show.  Why the americans felt they had to redo the UK version for some reason.  Not to mention that really paints a nice picture of what offroading is, bombing around like a bunch of retards through such a clean and wild area.

The Toyota was the best vehicle they had out there by far.

Ya I found it kind of funny that in anticipation of their trucks failing, they brought along a toyota... you never heard any concerns about their back up vehicle failing lol.

Then again, look to the east of Alaska. There is pretty much nothing there, even in the lower areas of the Pan Handle!
