Engine swap need help
« on: May 30, 2011, 01:13:19 PM »
I have a cj7 258 and am swapping a AMC  360 into it I have complete powertrain and Dana 44s front and rear. I am new to this s
And would like some help will pay or trade work.  I am a certified structural and pressure welder and would fab some bumpers etc up for your jeep. Just come up with the design and it would be built.
( also a graphic designer/ programmer and business graduate. So perhaps we can work something out)...

Thanks for your time

I won't be the one to show you how to do it, but if you need an extra set of hands to help with the swap, let me know. I'm always up for wrenching. (still learning myself).

That would be an AMC 360. Sounds like fun. Is that an automatic transmission you're putting in?

Dumb iPhone wants to do the auto complete for me.  Yeah it's a 4 speed trans and it's standard. I am up for the challenge. Will get it done this summer and do a frame off in the fall.

Depending on my schedule I'll give you a hand too. I work 8 hours on sat but in the evenings or sunday I'm usually free. Have lots of tools too.

No charge.
